bardella saddle - torsion treeless saddle The Torsion saddle takes its concept from the Bardella saddle, a treeless type of saddle used by Italian shepherds of Tuscany of the 19th century.

Originally designed, developed and tested nearly 20 years ago by Sergio Tommasi, World Championship Endurance rider and chief d’equipe of the national endurance team, today’s Torsion saddles not only demonstrate beautiful craftsmanship and Italian design but also an exceptional system backed up by countless hours of testing, research, European quality standards and HighTech materials, and safety technology.

Torsion uses a variety of materials from all over the world but chooses those with the highest qualities like the fine Italian leathers, the German SympaNova material for pads, girths and saddle bases or Biothane from the USA.
