Inflammation on an animal may appear around a wound, where there is some foreign object inside the tissues or anywhere on the body when the body's natural defence mechanism reacts to protect against infection and bacteria. Homeopathy may be highly efficient in resolving the problem. if symptoms persist, please consult your vet.
The part inflamed may be red, hot to the touch, painful and have some pus.
At the early stages, before an abscess forms, you can give the homeopathic remedy Hepar Sulphuris 30c. But to encourage an abscess to burst, you could give Hepar Sulphuris 6c.
When there is inflammation, it is best to get the pus out. You can use French green clay to burst it and also to bring out pus and any foreign matter to the surface. Cabbage leaves wrapped around the affected area can also help remove foreign objects.
