Easy, natural dog treat biscuits for your dog.

Meaty dog biscuits

  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • Sea salt
  • 1 egg -- beaten
  • Flavouring: Meat drippings, mince, meat broth, broth or water from canned tuna/salmon/sardines (enough to make a stiff dough). Whatever meaty things you can find in the fridge. Avoid pork as it is not a suitable meat for dogs.

Combine flour and powdered milk in a medium sized bowl.

Add beaten egg, flavouring and mix well with hands.

Dough should be very stiff.

If necessary add more flavouring.
On a well floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness.

Cut with shaped cookie cutters of your choice.

Place biscuits on cookie sheets and bake at 180 degrees celsius for 30 minutes.

Once cooked, let the biscuits cool down before offering them to your pooch.

Keep them in a box in the fridge.
