For horses with low top-line or back back, we recommend a gel pad or gel inserts in the saddle.
This saddle has a second stirrup attachment that is located under the flaps at billet levels. This is designed to remove pressure from the back where normal stirrup attachment is in place (under the seat) during long endurance rides where the rider is often standing in the stirrups, putting all their weight on the stirrups. By riding with the second stirrup attachment, you then relieve that pressure and give the horse more freedom in his back.
