Services - Acupressure for horses

I provide these natural therapies to horses. Acupressure is the use of pressure with the fingers or hands on the horse's acupuncture points for therapeutic benefits. Acupuncture uses the same points but with acupuncture needles. Moxibustion is the use of a moxa roll to provide heat on the points and help the Qi (vital force in other modalities) circulate. Moxa is a special roll made out of compressed Mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris) to provide heat therapy.

Horses are receptive to these techniques which are of help in the following conditions:

• body aches
• swelling
• hyperactivity
• cold and flu
• tendon injuries
• hoof and leg problems
• back problems
• sore muscles
