it is said that virgin coconut oil is effective in treating this fungus. Apply topically on the affected area and provide as a supplement in feed. - Sores, cuts, abraisions, wounds:
once the area has been cleaned, saturate with coconut oil. If applying a bandage, ensure it is saturated. Can also make a clay paste with coconut oil.

it takes years for pure coconut oil to go rancid. I use the same brand and have never had a problem. I have just finished a bottle from them that I’ve had for 10 years and it was still fine. I also use normal cooking coconut oil on the skin without any issues. Did others who bought the product with the same batch number encounter the same problem? If yes, then I recommend you talk to the supplier. If not, maybe your client did not store it correctly? In my experience, it’s rare the cold pressed oil goes rancid, no matter the brand.
